Science is the discipline that is related to the discovery, synthesis,
formulation, and dispensing of drugs. Pharmacy is one of the most important
components of the health care system. D. Pharm is a 2-year course tailored by
the Pharmacy Council of India, to provide a basic knowledge of pharmaceutical
science and technology. Aspiring students can join the course if he/she has
passed 10+2 with PCM or PCB. In this full-time course theories as well as
practical subjects are taught. After completion of the course, a 3 months (500
hours) practical training is required to undergo for getting registration as a
pharmacist. The future prospects after passing D. Pharm are hospital pharmacy,
drug store management, dispensing medicines, handling prescriptions, patient
counseling, and many more. After
completing D.Pharma one can opt for
B.Pharm as Lateral entry. Sikder College of Pharmacy is committed to provide
